Hm, I do recall many emails and discussions containing questions that
contained very critical points and issues which were indeed answered.

I am not sure if I am following. Which Michael are you referring to?

Sadly, I have to agree here. However, I'd expect an experienced community
person like to to rather roll up your sleeves and get involved than standing
at the sideline yelling.

How can you judge key or non key ? Afaik there has been only minor
communication, which was mainly between you, Wolfgang and me. And frankly
you did not seem to be too concerned, with neither the project nor the
company as a whole. So making subtle claims like that right now just seems
odd to me.

Heh, that's a wise statement. Of course we make mistakes and will continue
to do so. Help is always welcome and also raising critical points. But,
writing emails in a highly questionable tone demanding "Spend your money, so
that I can sell more" do not count as help and not raising critical points.
That is outsourcing the risk.

We don't simply "expect" something to become a success. We get up every day
trying to solve issues, enable new users, work on the software, document
more and more and so on.
It is and will remain hard work!
Mistakes are part of the process, what we have to make sure is that we learn
from them and never make them again.

potential rant

In general I would kindly ask you to remember the saying *"Treat others* as
*you want to be treated*". So if you write emails assuming the imaginary
role of the "bad guy" do you expect me to react accordingly? Unqualified and
demeaning posts usually result in a verbal shootout. I have not done that so
far and do not believe that this would lead to a productive and useful
discussion for anyone.

PS: Before you run another circle around that point, we are on the case of
professional pictures.
