Did you reflash the nn? Although that didn't fix mine (haven't looked into it though)

Subject: Can't get sound working
Hi all,
I'm sure this should go on the planned users list... but in the meantime.
I received my nanonote a few hours ago (hooray!) but can't get it to
make any noise (testing via aplay, which thinks it's playing a wav
file but I hear nothing). It seems unresponsive to any attempt to
change settings through alsamixer, alsactl or amixer (though amixer
thinks it's doing something useful). For instance:
root at BenNanoNote:/usr/bin# amixer -d sset 'Output Mixer DAC' on
Simple mixer control 'Output Mixer DAC',0
Capabilities: pswitch pswitch-joined
Playback channels: Mono
Mono: Playback [on]
root at BenNanoNote:/usr/bin# amixer -d sget 'Output Mixer DAC'
Simple mixer control 'Output Mixer DAC',0
Capabilities: pswitch pswitch-joined
Playback channels: Mono
Mono: Playback [off]
(notice how on setting the playback is 'on', but if I read back the
result it's off)
When I look at the settings in alsamixer, the volume is stuck on 100,
and output mixer bypass and DAC are both off.
Boot messages:
[ 10.170000] Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.21.
[ 10.180000] No device for DAI jz4740-i2s
[ 10.230000] asoc: jz-codec <-> jz4740-i2s mapping ok
[ 10.260000] ALSA device list:
[ 10.270000] #0: QI LB60 (jz-codec)
Am I missing something obvious?
Thanks,
James.
PS Also, I have the following repeated error on boot:
[ 13.150000] power_supply battery: driver failed to report
`voltage_now' property
[ 16.150000] power_supply battery: driver failed to report
`voltage_now' property
[ 17.510000] power_supply battery: driver failed to report
`voltage_now' property
Should I be worried?
PPS In other sad news, it's locked up twice, once after ifconfig
segfaulted (???).
