Re-testing is finished as of yesterday, I will review the results in detail
at the factory next week. Those units will probably be flashed with the
20100113 image Mirko uploaded recently.

No. The AVT2 boards are the 'road to Ya NanoNote'. Actually I think we will
rename them to just 'NanoNote board' soon but we haven't figured out proper
naming and revisioning yet.
However, since AVT2 is supposed to be fully compatible with what we are
currently producing (we call it LB60), the documentation that comes out of
AVT2 will benefit LB60 as well, for the most part.

The big picture is that we want to work on 100% copyleft hardware, but at the
same time we don't want to be in an engineering ivory tower for many years.
So in some cases we start with closed stuff, and work with partners that are
at least understanding, better supporting, our road to 100% copyleft.

For the Ben NanoNote, this applies to:

*) LB60 board - produced with proprietary tools (documentation via AVT2)
*) production testing software - proprietary microkernel
*) mechanical parts - proprietary tools
*) Ingenic Jz4720 - proprietary CPU, at least we opened up the Linux side

Hope this helps, Best Regards,
Wolfgang
