Hm... this is due to how the lcd works. Apparently all of it's
internal logic is clocked by the pixel clock. So after sending the
command sequence to shutdown the display we have to maintain the
pixelclock some time until the display is finally suspended. This
isn't so easy without layering violations inside the kernel code, but
I though I added some quirks to ensure proper behavior.

Did you build your own kernel or are you using the one from
downloads.qi-hardware.com?
