Can someone tell us prices for HopeRF modules? [1]
IIRC I was first to mention HopeRF here. Jean-Claude Wippler of JEE Labs
is doing interesting, totally open and CHEAP stuff that uses HopeRF
with AVR chips. [2]
The TI parts [3] sound very interesting, in particular, with onboard
8051 and USB support.

The (clever!) IM-Me device (about $30USD at Amazon) is uses the TI
chip. It has a compatible USB dongle so the IM-Me can connect to
internet.
Some interesting IM-ME hacking has started. [5]
