question about serial communication

ZigBee is a ultra low power, low data rate radio technology.  ZigBee
is primarily used in smart energy nowadays, or environmental
monitoring, like in forests.  It is also used in home automation, but
zigbee doesn't show any potential boom in that area.
CC2530 is a ZigBee SoC from TI.
