Xiangfu,
wonderful work! Thanks a lot.

reflash_m1.sh works so well now that indeed I only needed to download
the script, make it executable and run it. It downloaded everything
automatically and then reflashed my m1 using urjtag. Took about 5
minutes in total, including downloading time (maybe 2-3 minutes of
that were for downloading).

When I did the first boot after reflashing, I think I did not see
the big 'M' logo screen.
Another thing I noticed is that the boot process flickers a bit more
with this latest snapshot. If I boot I see this sequence:

1) 'M' logo screen comes up
2) screen turns all blue (my projector makes it all blue when there is no signal)
3) screen turns all black
4) GUI shows up (and stays for 1-2 seconds)
5) screen turns all blue (and stays like that for 2-3 seconds)
6) GUI shows back up and stays up

I think this was smoother/better before. Ideally #2-#5 would not be there.

When I randomly clicked on patches, I quickly found some that didn't
seem to work. We should think about a way to test patches and only
include working ones.

Will try some more now, but great progress I think.

To anybody who bought a Milkymist One and reads this list - the excuse
for not updating your box gets weaker all the time. reflash_m1.sh is
as easy now as it will get over JTAG. The only thing is that you still
have to build urjtag from source, until the next urjtag release that
Debian or other distros can pickup. At that point it will be down to
'apt-get install urjtag'.
Milkymist One support is already in upstream urjtag since last year,
there just hasn't been a release yet that distros could package.

We will improve updating m1 over the GUI (Ethernet) next.

Please update your m1, and don't let it collect dust in the drawer.
Wolfgang
