Small, cute, novel, not too expensive, you get a ready to use
package, they have a collection of usage examples.

Barn-sized, the wife will hate it, commercial alternatives exist
for 3D (cheaper) to 5D (more expensive), total cost unknown but
certainly in excess of the top package of USD 7500, only vaguely
specified additional skills and resources required for assembly,
even a lot more expertise required to actually put it to use.

The CNC machine is certainly a cool project, but it has rather
obvious shortcomings where it comes to mass appeal.
